As an entrepreneur in the United States, you have decided to market your product or service in another country. Your assignment is to select a product or service (your choice), and write a marketing plan to launch your product in a country outside of the United States. Use your text as a reference. Your discussion should include an analysis and observation of the following items in your paper:
The Economics of the new market and how that market’s economy will be able to support the new product or service being introduced.
The Stage of Economic Development that that market is in and whether it is in the right stage for this business.
The Balance of Payments in a country and its impact on currency exchange rates,
Type of Economic System present in that country and how a foreign would go about entering the market.
Political-Legal Environment and how laws and regulations are created and enforced. Also patent protection enforcement policies.
Cultural Environment of the country and how that country’s cultural practices differ from yours.
Technological Environment determines if that market is in fact ready for the product and has the necessary technical infrastructure for it to be useful.
General Information:
You will prepare and submit a Draft Paper, a Final Paper, and a 10-15 slide PowerPoint. The draft should cover the entire content of the paper in a brief form to show that you have started working on the whole paper (not just an outline). You must include preliminary references and APA formatting in the draft. You will need to upload the draft paper by the dates shown on the calendar.
Requirements:
The paper must be well written with proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and references. The Research Papers will be a minimum of 6 to 7 typed pages plus a Title page, Abstract, and a Reference page, bringing the total to 9 or 10 pages.
The paper will be double-spaced using 12-point “Times New Roman” font and standard one-inch margins. This equates to approximately 1500 to 1800 words. The paper must be correctly formatted and documented using the APA style.
Specific Description (assembling the paper):
The paper should consist of the following sections:
Introduction – describe the purpose of the paper by identifying your organization, product, and prospective target country. Clearly state your thesis. This is the information that you will show or prove about your organization. A thesis might include a statement such as “Marketing XYZ Corporation’s Widgets in Brazil.” Note that your analysis section will provide support for this thesis (or opinion) and your conclusion will describe how you proved your position. Size: About one page total.
Background – provide some historical perspective for the organization. You should research and include references that provide this background information. Size: About one page total.
Analysis – your discussion of the above items will be included in this section. Size: This is the main body of your research paper so prepare about four pages total.
Conclusion – Discuss how your thesis was proved or demonstrated and provide the lessons learned or knowledge gained from the subject.
References – At least six (6) sources must be cited and included in a Reference page. You may include your text as one of these. The sources will not include encyclopedias or dictionaries. Use primary sources whenever possible. Sources may include academic journals, books, articles (from major publications and newspapers), and appropriate Internet sites. You should also expect to include expert documentation (personal interviews) in this paper so you should become familiar with how to cite and reference them.

Course Project PowerPoint:
Prepare a 10-15 slide PowerPoint presentation as if you were presenting your new marketing plan in front of an audience of potential shareholders. Your presentation should include a Title slide, and a Reference slides in APA formatting. Use appropriate images that help to illustrate your presentation.
