The company issued theappointment orders and were asked to join the company once they get their final semester results next year. Based ondata that the company maintained in the HRIS it forecasted the requirements and hence the recruitment decisionswere made. The company also strategized that they would want to brand their company as diversified employer andhence recruited girls. A year later when these students were about to graduate and join the company the HRdepartment found that the data has errors and that the number of employees required were only 70.
