Revisit your hypotheses to see if a t-test or ANOVA would be appropriate to test your data (this will depend on you

  1. Revisit your hypotheses to see if a t-test or ANOVA would be appropriate to test your data (this will depend on your type of data; not all tests are appropriate to all types of variables). Specify your variables and data of levels.
  2. How do you determine the level of significance or p-value you will use for a particular problem?  (Why would you set the significance at, say .05 as opposed to .001?)  Why might the level of significance you might use be substantially different for different problems?  Give examples.
  3. What kind of data is best evaluated by ANOVA?  How could using ANOVA for the wrong level of data lead to inaccurate conclusions?

These small groups will be built based on the members with the same qualities and characteristics. The researcher will identify that the size of the population. To save time and money, the researcher will use a more straightforward and achievable approach. This will be done by selecting a small group from the entire population. Several ways can be applied while choosing from the whole population. One way is using stratified random sampling. The survey will entail using a sample size of 200 individuals. The survey item that will be used includes: I strongly agree that there is a relationship between memory loss and age, neutral disagree, agree, strongly agree. 2. When I was young, I had good memory compared to now; I agree, strongly agree, neural agree. 3. My memory has been reducing as I grow, strongly agree, neutral agree, strongly disagree.
