Step 1 Watch segments of the Frontline documentary The Persuaders and be thinking about the questions in step 3. While you are certainly welcome to watch the entire documentary, you will want to watch at least the following:
1 – The first 6 minutes: This provides the context for the documentary and introduces some of its themes.
2 – Minutes 11 16: This examines advertising and persuasion techniques.
3 – Minutes 39 End: This analyzes the impact of wording on political issues, the growth of narrowcasting, and the potential consequences of the persuasion industry.
