Several things are coming in 2023 that will wow some and overpower some and some will just dive right in with no problems. The things that will come about with a change in 2023 that are needed for more digital transformation in the form of self-service support and reskilling your knowledge to bridge the gaps that COVID and other issues in life have begun to open and now need to be closed before restructuring can begin. We will need to investigate on-demand items, license-based, and things that the older generation was doing and revamp things to modify with the new day and age of things to get back in the groove of things. Then when it comes to the self-service area, we will see more chatbots with improved Natural Language Processing capabilities to navigate around our current environment. Also, the more at-home interface IT help than in person due to the demand and the management of IT at a local level than from a distribution center. Then also should be looking into ways of reskilling our skills to be able to handle flexible work environments, bridging any IT skills gaps that are needed with IT certification classes, and even looking into how to handle retention information. These are just some things that they see that would or is possible already here in the year 2023 for people to be looking out for in their current or future careers (Dor, 2023).

he article that I read was on the Oracle website in the university blog, and It pertains to the concern that there is a digital skills gap that employees have versus what the companies actually need. According to the blog, over half of the current it experts will need new skills to complete their jobs in the manner that is expected. So that is the issue at hand. According to Oracle, the solution is more hands-on training for these new skills. This training would consist of seminars and certification courses and emphasizes training on AI, machine learning, and cloud computing. All of these are hot topics in it workforce and are great skills to have. The article also goes on to explain that it is important to train employees beyond digital skills, mentorship, guidance, leadership skills, and continuous learning are all desired traits that will help employees at work and in all areas of their lives.
I really liked the article, and I could not agree more that there is a huge digital skills gap in the workforce. I see it every day at work, and a lot of that is on the company for not offering sufficient training or any incentives to help employees grow. I think that industry professionals could benefit from this article because it would help them realize the benefit of having employees that are trained with the skill sets that are needed in today's world, which in turn would help their company and the employee be successful and grow.

A technology issue that i found interesting is integrating open AI in programming and data retrieval. One thing i found in my search is the class the Microsoft offers about Azure.
