1.Identify one to two points you would change in each of the following aspects of the video scenario:
· Seating arrangements of the social worker and client
The thing I would change regarding the seating arrangements would be taking the table away and sitting directly across from the client. Possibly getting some furniture in the room facing each other. The client would have their own couch, and so would the social worker.
Room design and décor
The room would be changed by simply adding 2 couches inside of it, for the social worker and their client(s). I would then add coffee, water bottles, and snacks for the client in case they come to their appointments, and they are hungry. I would also add a small waterfall system I the room, so it could give off that calming effect to the clients.
When it comes to decorating, I would add wall décor that says positive messages, or quotes. If the clients see the positive messages on the wall this may make them feel like they can overcome all obstacles. Lastly, I would buy boxes of Kleenex, because most of the clients tend to get emotional, which causes them to cry.
Body positions of the social worker and client
I would have all my clients on the couch sitting back calmly and comfortably. Mrs. Bargas looked very tense and anxious in the video. She was nervous and was always moving her hands as she was talking to the Social worker.

I would make these changes that I have provided for the social worker and the client(s), because I feel this would help the clients relax more. You must make the clients feel like they are at home, so if we made those small changes, the clients would adapt more; which would make them open more about their issues. I believe after the changes we have made, and consistency, the client and the social worker can get a lot accomplished.

· The energy seemed off. They were far apart from the table, which it would be extremely difficult for the social worker to give her client Mrs. Bargas a hug. The Social worker should have tried a little harder to care about Mrs. Bargas feelings. The social worker should have offered her some water or snacks before the interview got started. The office design was very bland and boring, so this is probably why Mrs. Bargas was daydreaming for a few seconds.
