The Moral Compass writing is a critically reflective personal writing defining and articulating personal values and explaining how they guide your character, conscience, and conduct in business, society, and professional life. It should be written in your own words in the first-person narrative voice as a brief synopsis of your personal moral compass.

Learning Objectives

The purpose of the Moral Compass writing is to articulate a thoughtfully reasoned system of values, principles, and practices as a human values framework for conscientious business and professional leadership.  This assignment demonstrates your progress towards achieving the learning objectives italicized in blue below: 

1. Foster your personal moral intelligence and well-being.
2. Think and communicate effectively about values and ethics.
3. Foster human values as the moral foundation of leadership and value creation.
4. Develop and justify an action plan to manage an ethical challenge.
5. Lead purposeful conversations about values and ethics.

Guidelines

• Be sure to write the Moral Compass writing in your own words using the first person narrative voice.
• The Moral Compass writing is a formal writing between 2000 and 2500 words (single-spaced, left (not right) block justified,12-point-font). 
• References and citations are not required because this is about you, but if you do include quotations or ideas from other writers, citations and a References section must follow APA format. You do not need to reference the Moral Compass Workbook unless you include a direct quote. The page count does not include a page for references.
