A set of tables in RapidResponse will be populated based on algorithms deployed requirements

Start with base data that will be imported (e.g. Sites, base calendars)

Will include a discussion about site model

Continue with master data (e.g. Parts, Bills of Materials, Part Sources, etc.)

Will include customers, suppliers, planner codes, some optional data like ABC codes

Finish with transactional data (e.g. Independent demand, Scheduled Receipts, On hand)

Validation Approach

Several steps will be worked to verify RapidResponse will provide data that fits the needs of GM. This will include data verification and validation to ensure that the standard RapidResponse analytic can successfully plan in the end-to-end network.

The following outlines the validation approach for this project:

Data Verification – Kinaxis will perform a manual data validation process that includes checking data integrity and quality.

Data Integrity – When data is provided, data integrity will be the first check. Examples of this include number of records, data that respects key structure, referential integrity, data types, etc. Issues will be reported for correction. Issues will be logged in the tracking form.

Data Sampling – A look across a sample of records to ensure the data provided to RapidResponse is in the correct fields with the correct values.
