In our Module 4 lecture you identified the significance of effective analysis prior to project implementation and the impact this analysis has on the organization’s project success. In this assignment you will demonstrate knowledge and demonstration of both the SWOT Analysis and the supplemental Force Field Analysis.

Isabella Sanchez, Chief Operating Officer
“Our hospital is considering opening a satellite clinic about 15 miles away in a rural area of the community. Opening this clinic will enable outreach to an underserved patient population. It should be noted that a percentage of this population may not have health insurance or be covered by Medicaid. As with virtually all new projects of this magnitude, there will be some challenges that come along with the benefits we can provide. As part of our operations team, I am asking you to review the feedback from our leadership team (see below) and then complete a SWOT Analysis and a Force Field Analysis to determine which services the new clinic should provide.”

“Happy to share some thoughts from the clinical staff. We would need to assess alignment with our current staffing policies, tying everything in with our hospital HR operations and potential future staffing needs. Another consideration is supply chain management.
