In this course, you will develop a proposal for a historical society or cultural association for an exhibit that presents a contemporary perspective on a historical event or subject based on your research. Your project will be a culmination of the work you’ve completed on several assignments throughout the term. Review the Project Guidelines and Rubric to better understand the requirements for this project.
Directions
Below is a list of approved topics that might interest you. The historical events or subjects are listed under each of the related topic areas. If you would like to select a different topic or event, contact your instructor for approval.
Each topic is linked to a research starter with background information on the event. You must use at least five sources from the Shapiro Library to support your proposal. You may consult with your instructor or the Shapiro Library for recommendations on locating sources.
