soil samples from the sand pit for lab tests. The results of sieve analysis for the soil are presented in the
following table. (a) plot the grain size distribution using a spreadsheet; (b) find the value of D10, D30, D60;
(c) Calculate the coefficient of uniformity and coefficient of curvature; (d) comment on the characteristic
of the grain size distribution of this soil, e.g. well graded or poorly graded and justify your comments.
