The goal is to convince the reader to adopt your perspective about the gendered communication. What is this “story” telling us about the larger discourses surrounding power, gender, race, class, ability, etc? For this assignment you will be evaluated on your writing skills, your attention to persuasive appeals, and your use of evidence (focusing on particular parts of the “story” and relating them back to the theory from the book and external articles).
