I wrote the essay below by myself but I am not satisifed with it. I am using it for a college application process. I would be happy if you can review and make some edits. 

I chose my current school because a) they provided me with good scholarship b)located in countryside so living cost is low c) is a small school which makes it a good place to start higher education in a new country. I came to the U.S alone at the age of 18 to get better education. I found my time at Truman to be experience enriching. When I came here in December 2019, I knew no one. My first month was a time of several hardships until I got foothold to settle. I, even, slept on a bench for two days in Chicago Union Station waiting for my train to come. It is after many ups and downs that I arrived at my school to begin my study. My first semester went smoothly. I was able to make new friends, get to know the city and adapt the new weather. The only thing that I did not like was the computer science department I was in. The department was short staffed in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic. Professors did not have time to help us with the courses because of their busy schedules. CS classes also get filled up so fast and there are certain courses given either in fall or spring semester only that makes it hard for me to plan on getting my degree from there.  I came up with the plan to transfer but since I just moved to the U.S I did not have enough resources that could make it happen. I was struggling both financially and emotionally so I have to first focus on figuring out how to attend my school stress free. After my second semester, I took a 4 months gap period to work and attain financial stability. After months of hard work, I became able to successfully support myself financially. Now, I am planning to transfer to a school with a good CS department and F&M is on my list
