SEARCHING FOR EVIDENCE 

In this Assignment, you will conduct a library search for three peer-reviewed quantitative research articles that provide preliminary evidence of a social problem that has current relevance to social psychology (e.g., the effects of multitasking on task performance, internet addiction). At a minimum for each article, you must:

• Provide a full APA 7 format reference
• In your own words, clearly state the purpose of the study
• Describe the specific research design used in the study
• Identify the independent variable(s) (IVs) and dependent variable(s) (DVs)
• Identify the authors’ hypotheses
• Report the results of the study
• Indicate whether you believe the results support the authors’ hypotheses

Your paper should not simply be an answer to each of the points just listed. TO PREPARE

• Conduct a library search for three peer-reviewed quantitative research articles that provide preliminary evidence of a social problem that has current relevance to social psychology (e.g., the effects of multitasking on task performance, internet addiction). (Note: Consult a librarian for tips on using search terms to access articles relevant to the social problem you have identified.)
• Review a few quantitative research articles in the Walden Library and practice identifying the hypothesis, independent, and dependent variables.

Assignment: (2-3 pages)Based on the three peer-reviewed quantitative research articles you found in your search,

• Provide a full APA-7 format reference for each article
• In your own words, clearly state the purpose of the study
• Describe the specific research design used in the study
• Identify the independent variable(s) (IVs) and dependent variable(s) (DVs)
• Identify the authors’ hypotheses
• Report the results of the study
• Indicate whether you believe the results support the authors’ hypotheses

Your paper should integrate your answers into a cohesive, short paper describing each of the three studies and their findings.
