1. Read the Chapter 12 Case Study on pages 417-422 of the Hill & Lynn textbook (CASE: COMPSTAT IN 3D).
2. Use the readings from the course to answer the questions below (in blue).
3. Question #1
The CompStat Case discusses the implementation of the CompStat program in New York City. It also discusses why it succeeded in New York City, and whether it would work elsewhere.
Discuss the 3D (3 dimensions) from the Hill & Lynn textbook (Structure, Culture, and Craft) as they relate to this Case.
Thus, there should be 3 paragraphs, one for each dimension to include the following:
a) dimension
b) definition of the dimension (1-2 sentences)
c) what dimension aspects(s) were implemented in the New York City example that helped its success, and
d) what dimension characteristics should be considered to implement a similar system elsewhere; how might it differ from New York City’s implementation
