Throughout the field of biology, it can be helpful to use schematic illustrations such as concept maps to organize how all of the different pieces of the puzzle fit together in relation to one another. This exercise of concept mapping is an excellent way to begin making connections and develop an understanding of the “big picture”.

Directions: Create a drawing of a Concept Map using One of the prompts below. Make a hand drawing of your concept map, scan or take a picture and upload it to the discussion post. At minimum, make sure you use the key words listed below to describe your drawing ( 10 pts).
